License requirement

The functionality described requires a MANUS Bodypack or a MANUS license key with the OpenXR feature enabled.

Disable OpenXR (SteamVR)

The integration can be disabled in SteamVR through the following steps.

Navigate to the SteamVR window and click the menu button in the top left.

Go to Settings.

In Settings, open the OpenXR section.

Click the MANAGE OPENXR API LAYERS button.

This will show a list of all installed OpenXR API Layers. Using the On and Off switch, the OpenXR Manus Hand tracking API layer can be toggled on or off.

Multiple Core installations

If you have both MANUS Core 2 and MANUS Core 3 installed, we recommend uninstalling MANUS Core 2.

Re-enabling the MANUS OpenXR API layer may cause certain versions of SteamVR to inadvertently activate both the Core 2 and Core 3 API layers simultaneously, which can result in unexpected behavior.
