Wireless Antennas
Wi-Fi Antenna
The Bodypack Lite has its Wi-Fi antenna located at the top of the casing. Please do not cover the antenna.
Integrated MANUS Metagloves Wireless Antenna
The Bodypack Lite has its integrated Metagloves wireless antenna located at the top of the casing. Please do not cover the antenna.
Place the Bodypack Lite on the front of the body (chest, hip, upper leg, upper arm, etc) when using it wirelessly with MANUS gloves.
Velcro Backed Casing
The back of the Bodypack Lite is lined with velcro (hook) and can be attached to any velcro (loop) surface.
Power Bank
We recommend attaching self-adhesive velcro (hook) tape to your power bank.
We recommend using angled USB Type-C connectors in the power bank and Bodypack Lite, and routing the USB cable in such a way to prevent possible snag.
Xsens MVN Awinda (Wireless)
The MANUS Bodypack Lite and its power bank can be attached to the MVN Awinda straps.
Since the Bodypack Lite is used to connect wirelessly to MANUS gloves, please place the Bodypack Lite on the front of the body (hip, upper leg, upper arm, etc).
Hip
The Bodypack Lite and power bank can be directly connected using velcro.
Upper Leg
The Bodypack Lite and power bank can be directly connected using velcro.
Xsens MVN Link (Wired)
The MANUS Bodypack Lite and its power bank can be stored inside the MVN Link suit pockets.
We recommend placing the MANUS Bodypack Lite and MVN Body Pack on opposite sides.
Since the Bodypack Lite is placed on the back of the actor, please connect your MANUS gloves using USB cables.
The USB A cables to the MANUS gloves and USB C cable to the power bank can be routed through the suit.
The USB C cable to the MANUS Bodypack Lite can be routed through the suit.
Optical Mocap Suit (Wireless)
The MANUS Bodypack Lite and its power bank can be attached to an optical motion capture suit.
When the Bodypack Lite is connected wirelessly to MANUS gloves, place the Bodypack Lite on the front of the body (chest, upper leg, etc).
Chest
The Bodypack Lite and power bank can be directly attached using velcro.
Upper Leg
The Bodypack Lite and power bank can be directly attached using velcro.
Optical Mocap Suit (Wired)
The MANUS Bodypack Lite and its power bank can be attached to an optical motion capture suit.
When the Bodypack Lite is connected wired to MANUS gloves, the Bodypack Lite can be placed on the back of the body.
Back
The Bodypack Lite and power bank can be directly connected using velcro.
The USB A cables to the MANUS gloves and USB C cable to the power bank can be strapped down onto the suit with velcro straps.
Strap Attachment Points
The Bodypack Lite comes with 2 attachment points through which a strap can be routed.
When using a optical motion capture suit, a velcro strap can be used for additional securing.
For other use cases, the Bodypack Lite can be worn directly on the body with a strap.
We recommend using a 25-30mm wide strap.
We recommend routing the strap under the Bodypack Lite.
There are 2 openings, one on each side of the bottom of the Bodypack Lite.
